Wien Modern Almanach 2009
Vienna Modern is Austria’s largest festival for contemporary music. Straddling the line between musical innovation and tradition, Vienna Modern serves as an international platform for current musical developments. Since 1988, following an initiative by Claudio Abbado, international composers, artists, performers, and ensembles have been invited to bring to life all artistic fields connected to the world of sound.
In 1999, we won the competition to redesign the visual identity for Wien Modern, and since then we have been responsible for the festival’s visual identity each year. The design commission included creating posters, advertisements, brochures, and a comprehensive festival almanac.
